Live Cell Imaging Applications Drive Component and Wavelength Selection for Hyperspectral Microscopy

Presented by: Mike Fussell, Zaber Technologies

This session explores the expanding applications of hyperspectral microscopy in semiconductors and live cell imaging. Viewers will better understand the advantages and disadvantages of using UV and NIR wavelengths compared to traditional visible light microscopy. Learn how NIR microscopy can enhance live cell studies by avoiding phototoxicity, extending observation times and offering deeper tissue penetration.

Fussel explains UV microscopy and its ability to help resolve finer details in samples than visible light could. Viewers will learn how to update existing microscopes to support UV or IR imaging with practical guidance for component selection to help you achieve the best possible results for a hyperspectral microscope system.
