Pushing Performance Limits: Sapphire Optics in High-Power 1µm Systems

This presentation will share recent field and laboratory testing results highlighting the performance of sapphire optics in demanding high-power 1µm laser applications. With superior thermal conductivity and a higher refractive index compared to fused silica, sapphire enables system integrators and end users to push beyond current performance limitations. Attendees will gain insights into how sapphire’s enhanced thermal handling and resistance to contamination make it an ideal solution for supporting the next generation of high-power 1µm systems.
