About the presenter
Christian Katzer, Ph.D., joined Materion Balzers Optics as a product specialist and later transitioned to the product management team. Today he is head of product management at the Materion Balzers Optics production site in Jena, Germany, where he supports customers in finding the best filter solution for their specific application. He holds a doctorate in physics with a focus on thin-film physics and optics. His doctoral research centered on the basic physics of thin films.
