About the presenter
Gwenn Pallier holds a Master of Science degree in optical engineering from the Institut d'Optique in 2010. She also holds a Master of Science degree in fusion science from the Ecole Polytechnique, as well as in fundamental physics from the Université Paris Sud.

Pallier has worked in the defense industry for Qioptiq and Lumibird and for the space industry within the Thales group. She is now product line manager at Cailabs, in charge of the development of beam-shaping products for laser material processing applications.

Pallier was elected in the Photonics100 in 2022 and earned third place at the AKL Innovation Award 2024.
