Demystifying Beam Profiler Options

Presented by: Logan Hatanaka, DataRay Inc

With the wide range of modern beam profiling solutions available today, selecting the right system for your application can feel overwhelming. Which application details truly matter? How do you navigate the subtle but important specifications provided by beam profiler manufacturers?

In this webinar, Hatanaka breaks down the key parameters to consider when choosing a beam profiler, examining each specification in detail to demystify the product selection process. He discusses sensor and detector technologies across the major wavelength regimes, appropriate beam diameter ranges based on hardware capabilities, and the impact of beam shape on profiler selection. Additionally, the presentation addresses special considerations for both pulsed and continuous-wave (CW) beams and explores the challenges associated with accurately quantifying certain beam parameters.

Choosing the right beam profiler doesn’t have to be difficult. Join Hatanaka to gain a clear, practical understanding of how to select the best profiling system for your needs.
