The courses start with “Understanding Light for Illumination” (about how the deep, beautiful theory is highly relevant in our day-to-day engineering work), continues with how to model and use light sources and optical elements, and finally connects colorimetry with how to model and drive LEDs. In between courses, Julius helps industry clients to get their illumination optics right, enjoys mentoring younger colleagues in his clients’ product development groups, and also publishes books about illumination optics.
